ECCC2021 – is now a Virtual Conference!

We are excited to announce that the 5th International ECCC Conference – Creep & Fracture in High Temperature Components, Design & Life Assessment will now be known as “ECCC2021” and is being run as a Virtual Conference, taking place online during 19-20th of October, 2021. Our partners, the Events Team at IoM3 will host the Virtual Conference, with further information at the link shown below.

We wish to thank the authors of the papers submitted to ECCC2020, most of those will be available during the Web Conference ECCC2021, and will be published by the ECCC and/or within a special edition of the journal Materials at High Temperatures. Full presentations will be pre-recorded (about 20 minutes each), and available about one-week before the event, and available afterwards.

  • On Day 1 , 19th October, Plenary and Keynote papers will be presented live
  • On Day 2, 20th October, Two parallel sessions will take place with a total of ~40 papers presented live in a shorter format
  • On both days there will be the opportunity to submit questions online, to be answered live by the presenters.

As with all our conferences, ECCC2021 will bring together engineers and scientists from around the world to present and discuss research and developments in all aspects of creep behaviour of high temperature industrial materials and components. The overall aim is to disseminate knowledge and identify future work items requiring attention from the high temperature research, design and standardisation communities.

Advance notice: our 6th International ECCC Creep & Fracture Conference, known as “ECCC2023” will take place as a physical conference in Edinburgh, during 22-25th May 2023. Some of our authors have preferred to delay their papers until we can meet in person. More details will be available at the site link given below.
